Edward Daniels started at ctd architects on his RIBA Stage 1 practical experience/year out in July 2018 as a fresh graduate straight from the University of Sheffield.
Ed said “During my time at ctd architects I have gained a plethora of experience from the wide range of projects that are worked on. I have gained experience in mainly residential and conservation architecture, which has given me a broad spectrum of the role of the architect and various stages involved. CTD has a fantastic work environment that will enable me to springboard into further architecture education, as I hope to progress to a Masters in Architecture this September. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and experience at CTD Architects and hope to keep in contact throughout my education”
The Partners in the practice all acknowledge the help and benefit that their own work placements and practical experience provided and are keen to continue to offer this opportunity to aspiring architects. As well as gaining an insight into working in an architect’s practice the students bring their own ideas and creative thinking to the role, benefiting everyone.
