Apprentice Training Centre

A purpose built training facility adjacent to the main factory headquarters at High Carr Business Park. Opened by Sir Richard Nobel OBE, the building offers state of the art educational training, small conference and marketing facilities in a purpose designed building encompassing modern methods of construction; the main superstructure being built from structural insulated panels (SIP).

The project embraces the use of renewable energy in the form of under floor heating powered by a ground source heat pump, together with grey water harvesting and passive ventilation, which has achieved a recorded 60% saving in running costs over more conventional forms of construction.
