The Mill Barns exclusive wedding venue

The Mill Barns wedding venue is the latest venue to add to the portfolio of wedding venues ctd architects have designed and delivered for our client, Ensarb Estates, adding to their existing exclusive use wedding venue including The Ashes and Pendrell Hall.

The former Mill Hotel at Alveley in Shropshire was purchased on 14th July 2015 by Ensarb Limited. Having been completely destroyed by fire in May 2015, the former Mill Hotel in Alveley featured a historic 16th century flour mill and had been operating as a wedding venue with accommodation.

Having successfully transformed a derelict farm and a sadly neglected Victorian country house into two very successful, award-winning wedding venues in the past eight years, Ben and Sarah Reeves, the owners of Ensarb Limited are no strangers to working on challenging projects!

ctd architects managed the project along with the management team from Ensarb Limited, from concept to completion, overseeing the development from demolition of the old fire damaged hotel buildings through site clearance, piling, steels, installation of the oak timber frame, exterior and interior finish and fittings.
